1. We calculate the Card Types, Average Ticket, Swiped or Key Entered info from the Statement and project very accurate savings. If a merchant has a literally unbeatable rate, we’ll be the first to congratulate him or her.

2. Our Statements have the simplest formatting in the industry. We are here to go over each line item until everyone is comfortable.

3. Unless someone’s in a meeting, the phone is answered. The calls are returned soon afterward. With CCPS, there is no reason to avoid anyone.

4. Leases are very profitable, and wrong. We have not, nor will we Lease equipment. If a merchant is currently in a Lease, they can process with CCPS. When their contract is over, we sell reasonably priced equipment, to be used with whomever the merchant wishes to do business in the future.

5. Our merchants are usually in the same area as our Agents and they have Loaner Terminals with which to program and install within hours of an outage. No need to wait on the truck.

6. We will Rent equipment for special events, whether it be for a day or month. All we ask is for sufficient notice.

7. We’ve never charged an Early Termination Fee, whether due to closure, selling of the business, or changing processors. It is our job to make our merchants comfortable. If we aren’t a good fit, it shouldn’t cost them anything to find a company who is.

8. Our merchants have access to archived Statements, Batches, Funding, and Individual Transactions, free of charge.

9. This somewhat complex industry has always been under a cloak of secrecy. It is technical, but it isn’t as intimidating as some have made merchants believe. We educate our merchants in Processing Theory, because 1) we are accountable to our merchants, as we keep everything on top of the table and, 2) when the next competitor sits across from one of our merchants, promising unimaginable things, the ability to separate fact from fiction is essential.

10. Everyone needs a “Knuckle Buster” and slips on hand. If the phones stop, and you don’t have one, we can typically get it right out to you.

11. I know there are things that we would change, from the needless complexity of the Interchange by Visa and MasterCard to the deceit of so many within this business. But until then, this is what we have. The Card Companies only look out for their Card Holders, leaving the merchants to fend for themselves. We at CCPS are our merchants’ only advocates, and we don’t take that responsibility lightly.
